It is undeniable that we are engulfed in a rapidly changing world, both local and global. The world is changing and like it or not you are a part of it.
At any point of your journey it is useful to reflect on where you are, where you have been and where you wish to be.
Are you where you want to be? Is your life where you want it to be? Are your relationships where you would like them to be? Is the world where you would like it to be?
Many a person starts life with a vision to make effective change in their world. Unfortunately, all too often they wind up with the outside influences changing them. They have succumbed to the cultural turmoil and the whims of the marketplace. They lose or significantly minimize their original vision just being satisfied to get by. They sublimate themselves and allow their personality to become less than optimum.
It brings to mind the conversation in the classic ‘Through the Looking Glass’. “Would you tell me please which way I ought to go from here?”, asks Alice. “That depends a good deal on where you want to go” replies the cat. “I don’t much care where”, says Alice. “Then it doesn’t matter which way you go”, came the reply. “So long as I get somewhere”, Alice adds as an explanation. “Oh, you’re sure to do that”, grinned the cat.
The changes we encounter in life will often challenge our vision and direction. If we are not clear on whom we are and where we are going we can easily buy into the global delusions and end up where external circumstances dictate.
We start to believe that we are the personality that others have told us we are and we can’t do anything about it. We lose our passion and our purpose. Our personality seems to be our prison.
A useful way to do life is to rediscover your passion and live it. A useful way to overcome this trap is to revisit and redefine your purpose. To rekindle that flame of curiosity, creativity and intrigue that you had a child. In this state of invincibility you can do anything – you are the superhero.
A clear statement of this purpose when written out is a very useful reminder of the potential that you have.
The message that you bring to the world is very different from the myths that you are engulfed in that are propagated by the medico-politico-corporate monopolies.
We are not a tribe of isolated beings living out our desperate lives on a lonely planet in an indifferent universe. We are part of a larger whole, universal Intelligence.
As a person you have far more power than you realize.
Einstein stated it this way “A human being is part of a whole, called by us the ‘Universe’, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest–a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for
us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
Quantum calculations show that our universe, including you and I live in what amounts to a sea of motion – a quantum sea of light. All living things, at their most fundamental level, are packets of quantum energy constantly exchanging information with the pulsating energy field. We are not chemical reactions but energetic charges. Human beings and all living things are a coalescence of energy in a field of energy connected to every other thing in the universe.
Sounds like a more attractive option than a limited label of “me” as a “personality”, doesn’t it?
You are not in competition with anyone. How about taking on the mission of freeing your own mind and heart from this “prison”, love life and people and communicate this.
Your Quadrant 1 part allows you to cognate on these principles and tap into the global effect of attraction, which translates to a fantastically fulfilled life.
So, where will you be at this time next year? Will you be able to say, I am where I want to be, my life is where I want it to be, my relationships are where I would like them to be and my world is where I would like it to be?
Maybe now would be a good time to ask. What is my vision for the short time that I have here on this little planet? Write it down, then go about visualizing it and realizing it.
You never know. Unshackling yourself from you personality may be the change you want to see in the world.
