Quadrant 4 develops things into far greater possibilities. “What Else?” and “What If?” are the common expressions of this area – it wants the overall picture and the context, but most of all it wants the bottom line. The expression, expansion and exploitation of the big idea from Quadrant 1 that has been dissected by Quadrant 2 and put to the test by Quadrant 3. Quadrant 4 is at home in the intuitive world – the zone of the universal mind. It says very loudly, “Let’s do it now”.

Quadrant 4 in depth
Quadrant 4 offers volumes of verbal “noise” masked as communication, incorporating lots of vocal variety with emphatic statements in a somewhat forceful tone. It is always ready to speak and produces a high-volume, fast style of speech with challenging voice intonation. It tells more than asks and talks more than listens. True to its bottom line nature, it is blunt and to the point. Action is the right name for this Quadrant, so when it comes to moving on something, it is Quadrant 4 that seizes the opportunity and makes things happens. This is the home of politics and this quadrant wants to see change happen – now. When you shake Quadrant 4’s hand, you know about it; it is firm and steady eye contact is maintained.
Quadrant 4, much like Quadrant 1, has a highly developed pre-frontal cortex or fore-brain and is attuned to its intuitive mind. Quadrant 4, however, has more left-brain goal oriented filters at work, so will be more direct and discerning with the intuitive “hits” that it encounters. It has been said by philosophers and quantum scientists alike that we are awash in a sea of information of which we are, for the most part, unaware. The fore brain appears to resonate with the information available within the universal mind.
Quadrant 4’s theme is “what’s the bottom-line” and “notice my accomplishments”, which may be typified by its choice in transport – probably a Mercedes.
